Payment and Refund Policy
Scope of This Policy
This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of digital courses, subscriptions, and professional resources offered through reportixyza. The services covered include access to detailed materials on studio equipment setup, dynamic camera operation, lighting and sound waves, and high-quality workflows for television news and live shows. It governs transactions made by customers located in the United Kingdom and explains how payments are processed, contracts are formed, and refunds are handled where applicable.
Prices, Currencies, Taxes and Additional Charges
All prices on the website are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include value added tax (VAT) at the prevailing rate unless otherwise stated. Additional charges such as currency conversion fees imposed by your payment provider or bank may apply and are your responsibility. reportixyza does not charge extra for standard digital delivery but reserves the right to adjust prices for future purchases. Promotional offers are subject to their own terms and may not be combined with other discounts.
Accepted Payment Methods, Authorisation and Security
We accept major credit and debit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers for commercial subscriptions. Payments are authorised at the time of purchase through secure third-party processors that comply with UK data protection standards. Card details are never stored on our servers. Authorisation confirms sufficient funds and validates the transaction before access to digital content is granted.
Order Confirmation and Contract Formation
Upon successful payment you will receive an email confirmation containing order details and access instructions. The contract between you and reportixyza is formed when we send this confirmation. Until then, no binding agreement exists. For subscriptions, renewal is automatic unless cancelled in advance according to the terms provided at signup.
Cancellation Rights and Applicable Periods
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase during which you may cancel for any reason. Digital content downloads or streaming access that begins immediately after purchase may limit this right once you have started using the material. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time to prevent future billing but refunds for the current period are governed by the eligibility rules below.
Refund Eligibility, Exclusions and Non-Refundable Items
Refunds are available for unused digital courses within the 14-day period if no substantial content has been accessed. Once you have viewed or downloaded more than a reasonable sample, eligibility ends. Non-refundable items include completed workshops, customised resources, and any promotional materials provided free of charge. Services already rendered or time-based access that has expired are excluded.
Step-by-Step Procedure to Request a Refund
To request a refund contact us using the details below and include your order number, full name, email address associated with the purchase, and a brief reason. Requests must be submitted within the applicable time limit. We will acknowledge receipt within two working days and guide you through any further information required.
Inspection, Approval, Rejection and Notification
Each request is reviewed individually against the policy criteria. You will be notified of the decision by email within ten working days. If approved, the refund amount and expected processing timeline are confirmed. If rejected, clear reasons are provided together with any options for appeal or alternative resolution.
Refund Method, Processing Time and Receipt of Funds
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Credit or debit card refunds typically appear within five to ten working days depending on your provider. PayPal refunds are processed within three working days. Bank transfers may take up to fifteen working days. reportixyza is not responsible for delays caused by third-party financial institutions.
Special Rules for Digital Content, Subscriptions and Promotional Offers
Digital content is supplied instantly upon purchase and therefore the cooling-off period may be lost once access begins. Subscriptions renew automatically; cancellation stops future payments but does not automatically refund prior periods. Promotional offers carry their own refund restrictions stated at the time of purchase and generally follow the same 14-day rule where content has not been substantially consumed.
Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks and Suspected Fraud
Failed payments will result in access being suspended until resolved. Duplicate charges are investigated promptly and corrected where verified. Chargebacks are treated as disputes and may lead to account review. Suspected fraudulent activity is reported to the relevant authorities and may result in immediate account termination without refund.
Mandatory Consumer Rights in the United Kingdom
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, or UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. These rights cannot be excluded or limited by contract. If you believe a term conflicts with your legal entitlements, the statutory provisions prevail.
